Zendaya filmed a secret movie during quarantine.

Deadline has revealed that Zendaya and 'Euphoria' creator Sam Levinson have been quietly shooting a new film called 'Malcolm & Marie' during the pandemic.

The film came to life after filming on 'Euphoria' Season 2 shut down on March 16th, with Zendaya calling Sam Levinson, asking him to write and direct a movie. It was filmed throughout June and July, complying with all safety protocols.

Deadline reveal that the film has "echoes of Netflix’s Marriage Story, while resonating a number of social themes that the world is experiencing right now."
