Julia Jacklin is set to be Australia’s next big musical export, with music press both print and online already head-over-heels - NME described picturesquely her as "Angel Olsen meeting Fleetwood Mac on a dusty highway somewhere serene" - and her upcoming debut album, expected later this year, ought to build on what has already been an exciting 2016 so far, with sold-out shows in her homeland and performances at SXSW and The Great Escape.

Expect brilliant couplets such as, "My heart is heavy when you're high / So for me why won't you try," from Jacklin’s latest single, 'Pool Party'.
