Grimes - ‘California’ music video.

Grimes has just dropped a music video for ‘California’, the third single from her ‘Art Angels’ album of last year.

The video actually features a different version of ‘California’ from the one that features on ‘Art Angels’, and as in Grimes tradition, the video was directed by Claire herself.

She explains having to redo the song with the following reason:

had to re do track because when I looked at the footage it was dissonant w the original song, song elicits no visuals in my mind naturally

It also features cameos from Hana, Purity Ring’s Megan James, and Claire's brother Mac Boucher.
