The Game compares Kesha's legal battle to slavery.

American rapper The Game has spoken up in support of Kesha's legal battle against Dr. Luke and Sony, saying that, "I don't understand music and the slave mentality. If the artist is not happy, man, you should let the artist do her thing."

In a candid conversation with TMZ, The Game said: "Let her off the label, man. Let her do her thing, man. I don't understand music and the slave mentality. If the artist is not happy, man, you should let the artist do her thing... Fuck that contract. You know what a contract is? A piece of paper that I signed when I was dumb and illiterate to the music business, and then you figure it out, you get smart, you get aware, and you realise you signed some bullshit."
